Your new role

We are seeking an experienced senior practising accountant to join our leadership team. This role is central to our long-term succession planning and offers the opportunity to shape the future of our accounting division. You will lead a $1M+ fee base (with the opportunity to grow further), drive internal transformation through automation and KPI tracking, and collaborate across divisions to enhance client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounting team to achieve strategic goals and improve productivity.
• Implement and oversee automation processes and KPI tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with financial planning and lending teams to enhance inter-division referrals.
• Contribute to innovation and digital engagement within the accounting function.
• Support succession planning and mentor emerging leaders.

What you'll need to succeed

• CA or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in a senior accounting or leadership role - Likely currently in a Senior Manager or Principal role.
• Strong business advisory and tax expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and grow client relationships.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
