THE COMPANY
Our client specialises in insurance and remedial construction for all building types including residential, commercial and strata up to $500K, they are also undertaking bespoke high-end fit-out and renovations for repeat clientele. Company is based in Rozelle, and they service the wider Sydney metro area and regional NSW
THE ROLE
- Answering incoming calls.
- First Contact for insurer’s, policy holders and trades
- Managing Makesafe, escalations and general enquiries
- Estimator scheduling
- Assessment review & submission
- Customer Service
- Administrative tasks
- General office allrounder
- Ad hoc duties.
- Monitoring shared company inbox/ emails.
- Dealing with queries on the phone and by email.
- Corresponding with clients and trades on the booking/scheduling of their jobs.
- Co-ordinating trades and assisting Project Managers / Estimators.
- Updating computer systems and clients as required.
- Updating internal and clients web portals.
- Completing Customer Satisfaction Reports and assisting with job sign off.
- Preparation and set up of job schedules.
- Managing Sub-contractor compliance.
- Assisting with afterhours make safes and assigning/ scheduling emergency trades to attend site when required.
- Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and booking rooms.
- Updating & maintaining our databases, scanning, filing & other ad Hoc duties.
- Liaising with staff in other departments, e.g. finance, HR.
- Liaising with consultants and assisting with obtaining approvals for construction works.
- Attending staff meetings when required.
- Attending company events when required.
ABOUT YOU
- High level of client care and communication
- Ideally you have worked within insurance admin/claims or admin within the construction space
- Good computer skills
- Prime and Microsoft Office knowledge (training can be provided)
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and used to working to deadlines and under pressure
- Experience in a construction or insurance-based role preferred
- Self-motivated to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Able to work well with others
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail
