We’re on the hunt for a trade-qualified Mechanical / Hydraulic Fitter who’s ready for variety, autonomy, and long-term prospects. You’ll split your time between the field and the workshop, backed by a supportive, down-to-earth team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carry out on-site servicing, tooling audits, installations, and customer support
• Tackle the occasional breakdown, then head back to the Smithfield workshop for system builds, repairs, and maintenance
• Service, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic + mechanical systems
• Provide technical advice to clients across mechanical fluid power
• Travel to local/regional sites when required (with notice)
• Keep job reports accurate and professional

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade qualification – Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Mechanic
• Solid mechanical & hydraulic troubleshooting ability
• Clear communicator with a customer-first approach
• Confident working independently + as part of a team
• Safety-focused and detail-driven

Bonus Points For:

• Hydraulic hose crimping/fitting skills
• Experience with torque wrenches, jacks, power packs, etc.
• Site commissioning exposure
• Flexibility to travel at short notice
