About the role
The Operational Services Officer – Veterinary Nurse, provides essential support to lecturers, technicians and students, ensuring the smooth delivery of teaching and veterinary technical support services in the TAFESA PetsinTuition Veterinary Clinic and animal care facilities.
Working under general direction, the Operational Services Officer – Veterinary Nurse, performs a variety of tasks that require the practical application of established skills and knowledge. The role requires professional interactions with others, along with a friendly, cooperative and team-oriented approach to shared responsibilities.
We are looking for an experienced vet nurse that is interested in working in a veterinary clinic in an educational setting. You will be supporting educational staff in providing excellent student experiences and learning outcomes for the Veterinary Nursing and various Animal Studies programs.

Working days are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work required. 7.5 hours daily with a flexible approach to start and finish times (within negotiated periods) is expected.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- May be required to work outside at times during inclement weather conditions
