We’re on the hunt for a passionate, hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to help us keep the good vibes flowing and the standards sky-high.

The Role

As the Assistant Venue Manager, you'll be a key leader, reporting to the Venue Manager and overseeing both operational and administrative aspects of the business. This customer-facing role will see you mentoring staff and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Your Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate a team of 30 staff to create a vibrant, positive workplace culture.

Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health & safety.

Oversee cellar management and drive best practices across the venue.

Build rapport with members and regular guests.

Plan rosters, manage reporting, and handle administrative duties.

What We're Looking For

We’re seeking someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings energy, leadership, and a passion for hospitality to the team.

You’ll Need:

3+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Assistant Venue Manager/Duty Manager).

Strong front-of-house and back-of-house operational skills.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to going above and beyond.

Communication, leadership, and people management expertise.

A love for customer service and building community connections.

Sound financial acumen and proficiency with IT systems.

Flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Current RSA, RP License.

Working with Children Check
