Volunteer Home Support is a nonprofit organization delivering basic in-home support services to older people and individuals with a disability in the South West Metro area under the Continuity of Support (CoS ) & Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP) Programs.

Our team is seeking a Fulltime Coordinator to schedule our small team of Domestic staff in service delivery. You must be adaptable to responding to changes in staff absences to ensure continuity of care with our consumers. Your quick thinking and problem-solving skills will ensure we can continue to deliver our services to clients

You are expected to provide support to our consumers in accordance with their support plan and needs;

Be able to communicate with consumers and family, colleagues and others in a professional manner with respect and empathy;

Promote and foster the independence of the consumer;

Report any changes observed in the consumer, the home’s safety or other relevant aspects of the home environment;

Report to the Quality Manager any Wellness and Reablement initiatives identified for the consumer;

Work within the Aged Care Standards and the organisation's Work Health and Safety Guidelines;

Verify part time staff timesheets

Investigate complaints and report to the CEO

Monitor and schedule support workers on a daily basis keeping inline with KPI's and reporting to the CEO on a monthly basis.

Support and mentor support workers to encourage exceptional delivery of services

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills.

Previous experience in scheduling in an Aged Care and/or disability environment.

High level attention to detail and accuracy in your work.

Must hold a valid unrestricted drivers licence

Must have 3 Covid 19 vaccinations and current Flu vaccinations
