ABOUT THE JOB

Eilbeck Cranes is actively seeking a fulltime permanent Estimator to join the Service Center team in Aero Road, Ingleburn.

Responsibilities but not limited to

Reviews customers RFQ’s, drawings and specifications

Drafting of quotations for approval

Be able to interpret spare parts manuals

Procurement of materials

Generates accurate estimates of time and costs to build component parts and assemblies.

Prepare cost estimates, to aid management in bidding on or determining price of products.

Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness.

Manage RFQ queue and ensure quotes are returned according to client needs.

Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Maintain records of estimates projects, analyzing change orders and determining cost differences.

Presentation and sale of tenders to clients with the required follow up attitude in order to generate relationships and sales with the customers.

ABOUT YOU

Field Tech, Electrical or Mechanical Background

Must have previous experience within a busy industrial environment and similar role

Quoting experience

Understand Australian standards

Overhead Crane experience would be an advantage

Excellent communication skills both internal and external stakeholders

Exceptional time management

The ability to work autonomously in fast paced environment

Sound knowledge of MS Office suite

Willing to learn and ability to multitask.

Have an open mind and be flexible
