WHS Advisor – Renewable Energy Construction

We are seeking an experienced WHS Advisor to join a leading renewable energy construction project in regional Victoria. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the safe delivery of a large-scale infrastructure project, working alongside civil and construction teams in a dynamic environment.

Monday - Friday
7am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day WHS support across civil and construction works on-site
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project requirements
• Review and develop SWMS, JSEAs, and other contractor safety documentation
• Support toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and HSE committee activities
• Assist in incident investigations, reporting, and corrective action follow-up
• Build strong working relationships with contractors, supervisors, and client representatives to foster a positive safety culture

About You:

• Minimum Certificate IV in WHS (Diploma highly regarded)
• You must be locally based to drive in/out. No accommodation provided
• Proven WHS experience within civil construction or large infrastructure projects
• Background in renewable energy, power, or heavy industry desirable
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
