The Role
We are seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Company Secretary to join our client in the Renewable Energy space. This role will support the Company Secretary in providing high-quality corporate governance and compliance services to the Board and its committees. You will play a key role in preparing and maintaining statutory registers, drafting governance documentation, managing board processes, and supporting the company’s compliance obligations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a governance professional in the early stages of their career who is working towards their practising certificate and is eager to develop within a dynamic, highly regulated industry.

Key Requirements

Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.

Holding a current practising certificate in NSW.

Strong understanding of corporate governance, compliance, and company secretarial practices.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention to detail.

Proficiency with board management software and MS Office Suite is desirable.

A collaborative and professional approach, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
