Balonne Shire Council has a dedicated team of 110+ staff and population of 4,500 people who live in the surrounding towns of St George, Thallon, Dirranbandi, Bollon, Nindigully, Mungindi and Hebel.
About the Position:
The Administration Officer – Procurement role supports compliant and efficient procurement across Council by providing advice, administrative assistance, and maintaining key systems and registers. It ensures policy adherence, assists with tenders, and contributes to good governance and operational effectiveness

About you:
Current C Class open drivers' licence
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work unsupervised while meeting demanding deadlines
High level customer service and communication skills
Highly developed computer skills
What we offer:
This is a full-time permanent position, salary cash component – Level 2.1 - $65,216 per annum.
Locality allowance of $1,945 per annum
Optional 19-day month, RDO arrangement
5 weeks annual leave
15 days sick leave
