VACANT POSITION: Centre Assistant Director / 2IC

Employment Type: Full-Time - permanent

Your role

This is an extremely rare opportunity for an experienced 2IC / Assistant Director to work closely alongside the Centre Director and Operations Manager to provide leadership and management to educators and staff regarding all aspects of the operation of the service in line with relevant regulations and procedures.

Working closely with our Centre Director, Operations Manager and Educators, your responsibilities include:

Administrative duties and tours

Ensuring all children are loved, cared for and educated to the highest standards

Building strong, meaningful relationships with our families, community and service providers

Working with your Director, to review Key Performance Indicators for the centre, including budgets, parent feedback, incident records, occupancy and staff retention

Ensuring that policies, procedures, checklists and routines are implemented consistently

The successful candidate will have:

A Diploma in Children’s Services or Bachelor of Education - Early Childhood (or working towards)

Experience in a similar role, admin or Leadership role

Extensive knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standards and A&R process

Sound knowledge of OWNA (or similar programs) and Microsoft Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Passion in achieving the high quality outcomes for children, families and communities

Extensive experience to support and train a motivated, high-quality group of team members
