What You'll Do

• Develop and implement cyber security policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and risk assessments, delivering clear mitigation plans.
• Manage and enhance security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
• Drive compliance with ACSC Essential 8, Cyber Security NSW 'Mandatory 25', and PCI-DSS.
• Respond to and investigate cyber incidents, including forensic analysis and reporting.
• Advise executives and stakeholders on emerging threats and risk management strategies.

What I'm Looking For

• Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Five or more years of proven experience in cyber security operations, frameworks, and governance.
• Proven track record in incident response, risk assessments, and compliance.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate technical risks into business-friendly language.
• Effective communicator who can influence stakeholders across all levels.
• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC highly desirable.
