About Company

Our client is a manufacturer of quality foods based in the Kings Park area and are looking to build a team of enthusiastic and reliable qualified butchers.

Duties

• Cutting and trimming meat
• Trim excess fat, remove bones and portion meat
• Weigh, package and label meat correctly
• Following food safety and hygiene
• Check meat quality
• Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines

Applicants must possess the following

• The ability to work with different meats including PORK & BEEF
• Previous experience as a butcher or in meat processing preferred
• The ability to work in a cool environment
• The ability to lift heavy (up to 25kg) constantly
• The ability to commit to a 38 hour week
• Be able to undergo a pre-employment functionality and drug/alcohol test
• Car and license are preferred but not required
