We’re a rapidly growing business in the transport and logistics industry and we’re on the lookout for a reliable and professional Admin & Reception Officer to be the welcoming face of our office. This is a key role in our small but expanding team, perfect for someone who thrives on keeping things organised and running smoothly.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on position that sits at the heart of the business. As our Admin & Reception Officer, you’ll be the first impression our clients receive both over the phone and when they walk through the door. You’ll manage a range of day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks, providing vital support to our team and ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
This role involves:
Greeting clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism
Answering incoming calls and managing emails
Offering refreshments and creating a welcoming front-of-house experience
Coordinating logistics updates and truck order progress with the operations team
Supporting the team with administrative tasks such as data entry, document prep and scheduling
Assisting with invoicing and basic accounts processes (training provided if needed)
Keeping the office tidy, well-stocked and running efficiently

What We’re Looking For
Previous administration or reception experience (essential)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook)
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Friendly, professional phone and in-person manner
Strong time management and multitasking ability
Proactive and confident in supporting multiple team members
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Invoicing or accounts experience is a bonus, but not required, we’re happy to train
