We’re looking for an experienced Accountant who’s ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you’ll manage your own client portfolio, develop trusted client relationships, and play a key role in mentoring juniors and supporting offshore team members. Your day-to-day might include:

Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and management reports

Advising clients on tax planning and minimisation strategies

Managing ATO communications on behalf of clients

Leading a small team of juniors and offshore staff, providing review and guidance

Supporting SMEs with compliance, structuring, and bookkeeping solutions

Embracing cloud-based tools such as Xero, XPM, Hubdoc, and more

✅ About You

We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership skills:

At least 3 years’ Australian public practice experience

Solid technical understanding of SME compliance, tax rules, and planning opportunities

Experience managing a client base with confidence and professionalism

Proven ability to review junior staff or offshore team work

Progress toward (or completion of) CA/CPA

Tech savvy with cloud tools (Xero expertise is a must)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A collaborative team player who values relationships and delivering quality outcomes
