The Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Leader for a Supported Independent Living home in Thornton. In this role, you will provide leadership and support to a team of disability support workers, ensuring that services are delivered to the highest standard. You will work closely with participants, families, and our operations team to maintain compliance, foster positive relationships, and drive continuous improvement.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

· Experience in disability support (leadership experience highly regarded).

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.

· Sound knowledge of the NDIS and relevant legislation.

· Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, WWCC

· Certificate III or IV in Disability, Community Services, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain) Leadership/Management qualification highly regarded.

· A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

· Effective working relationships, and provide advice and communicate effectively with management, staff at all levels and with a diverse group of individuals.

· Take prompt action to solve problems, act decisively on own judgement and look to go beyond job requirements to achieve objectives

· check accuracy of information, follow procedures and processes to avoid errors and take corrective action to minimise mistakes and notify others when appropriate.

· Generate reports and summaries

· Basic knowledge of Excel and word.

· A current drivers’ licence + NSW driving record and comprehensively insured vehicle to transport people when required
