This full-time, entry-level role starts at $55,000 + superannuation, with a 3-month performance review (and potential raise). About Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an internationally recognised training system that enhances ballet technique through muscle memory and targeted conditioning.

Our digital platform offers thousands of video tutorials and classes whilst we are expanding our digital offerings with many new products to foster a global community within the dance space. We have workshops happening every weekend around the world with a team of instructors and have over 10,000 certified teachers worldwide. Our merchandising department through our online store sells PBT equipment with the aim to expand further into apparel in the next 12-18 months.

About the Role

As our Junior Graphic & UX Designer, you’ll be immersed in hands-on projects from day one. Under the guidance of our Creative Director, you'll contribute creatively while developing your skills. Whether wireframing a new platform feature or designing eye-catching graphics for global campaigns, this role offers variety, responsibility, and real growth.

What You’ll Do

Design Digital Products: Conceptualise and create UI/UX designs for web/mobile features. Use Figma to turn ideas into wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes.

Create Graphics & Content: Design compelling visuals for social media, emails, ads, and our website—always on-brand and message-aligned.

Edit Short Videos: Produce short-form video content using basic editing tools—cutting footage, adding text/music, and polishing final clips.

Collaborate & Iterate: Work closely with our Creative Director and cross-functional teams. Share ideas, take feedback positively, and iterate with purpose.

Maintain Brand Identity: Uphold visual consistency across assets. Help evolve brand guidelines to keep our look fresh and cohesive.

What We’re Looking For

Recent Graduate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, UX/UI, or Digital Media. (Internship/freelance experience is a plus!)

Tool Proficiency: Skilled in Figma + Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Capable of building wireframes and polished mockups.

Design Fundamentals: Strong grasp of layout, typography, colour theory, and usability principles.

Basic Video Editing: Able to produce simple, polished videos using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar.

Creative & Detail-Oriented: You bring fresh ideas, a sharp eye, and pride in your craft.

Team Player with Drive: You’re curious, fast-learning, communicative, and ready to contribute.
