About the role

Cactus Wellhead Australia has a vacancy for experienced Wellhead Service Technicians. Reporting to the Service Manager, the position will be responsible for the field installation and service of wellhead, Xmas trees, and associated wellhead equipment.

This is an Adhoc role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 182 days in a 12 month period, including weekends and public holidays.

Applicants must be willing to travel and work away from home base for extended periods, we have work in Brisbane, Perth, SA, and Roma, and this role could be required to travel to these locations and other locations depending on the needs of the business. On occasions as workload dictates, the incumbent will also be required to assist with the assembly and testing of the product in the Brendale workshop.

About you

Previous experience in servicing wellhead equipment or similar oil field drilling/completions experience is advantageous.

Experience in Wellhead and pressure control Industry advantageous.

Mechanical Trade qualifications are advantageous.

High degree of Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and time management.

Previously worked in FIFO conditions.

A high priority on safe work practices.

The ability to work away from home base in a remote location, in all weather conditions.

A strong customer focus and motivation to succeed.

Must have unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Must possess a Manual driver's license.

Pre-employment screening including a medical, police check, and driver history check is required for this role.

Licenses & qualifications related to the oil & gas industry will be highly advantageous.

The total Remuneration package contains Base salary, Field day bonus, and Super. The remuneration package is dependent on the skills and experience of the applicant.
