This role is full time for the right candidate. You must be looking for a permanent commitment to a fast passed environment. Experience in a Manufacturing Department and working with meat is not required, we will provide training for the right candidate.

ROLE @ Austral Meat

This role starts at around 5am – 6am each day. You must have your own transport as busses don’t run in our area for early starts. All roles are based in our wholesale factory in Gepps Cross. We require someone who understands the importance of food safety and hygiene within our workplace. From our factory we serve food service customers, supermarkets and we also have a retail butcher shop.

This role would suit a passionate, driven, and fit individual who is keen to grow and develop within our business. We have a strong focus on positive team and company culture, so this needs to be important to you.

The role requires overseeing the mincing of all of our products, which extends to hamburgers, sausages and koftas. This is a physically demanding role, and requires an understanding of graded beef and their best uses

Shifts are Monday – Friday.

Full training is provided.

The environment will be fast paced and require a level of physical fitness. You must be capable of heavy lifting and repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
