We are exclusively partnering with a leading law firm in Sydney’s Martin Place to recruit a talented Litigation Associate (approx. 2 years PQE). This role is perfect for a commercial litigator looking to broaden their practice into construction disputes while continuing to sharpen their advocacy and client advisory skills.

🔍 The Opportunity
As an Associate, you’ll manage your own litigation matters (with supervision), drive case strategy, and strengthen client and counsel relationships. You’ll also gain valuable exposure to Security of Payment Act (SOPA) and building defect matters, with the opportunity to become a recognised specialist in construction law.

• Manage and run litigation files with autonomy and guidance
• Provide accurate, commercial legal advice to a range of clients
• Appear in court and brief counsel on complex matters
• Collaborate with colleagues and mentor juniors
• Meet achievable billable targets while maintaining high standards
• Engage in business development through networking, writing, and presenting

🎯 What You Bring

• Around 3 years’ post-admission experience
• Solid grounding in commercial litigation
• Exposure to (or strong interest in) construction disputes / SOPA matters
• Clear communication skills and strong client management ability
• Proactive, organised, and a collaborative team player
