Our Client is looking for highly experienced Cloud Platform Engineers to join their Infrastructure Engineering team. This is a chance to work on large-scale, secure cloud platforms that support critical government services.

What you’ll do

Architect & design: Shape secure, scalable cloud platforms (AWS & Azure) aligned with ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight.

Build & assure: Create architectural artefacts (HLDs, DLDs, patterns) and provide technical design assurance.

Engineer & enhance: Maintain and modernise enterprise cloud platforms.

Secure & comply: Implement IRAP-aligned solutions and enforce guardrails/policies.

Migrate & modernise: Support cloud migration strategies, refactoring, and application modernisation.

Collaborate & influence: Work with stakeholders, projects, and executives to deliver outcomes.

Skills you’ll bring (hands on prior experience is mandatory)

Deep expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, EKS, etc.) and Azure (Entra, VNet, AKS, Key Vault, App Services, AVD, etc.)

Strong cloud networking knowledge (VPCs, Subnets, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, DNS, Transit Gateway, etc.)

Policy enforcement: AWS Organizations, SCPs, Config Rules | Azure Policies & Management Groups

IaC & CaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, ARM

CI/CD with AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, Azure DevOps

Hands-on with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, Azure Front Door/CDN)

Strong communication skills – able to brief executives and collaborate across teams

Leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement experience
