ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Vineyard Supervisor & irrigation Operator to supervise the day to day operations out our high performing 161 hectare vineyard in Happy Valley VIC.

The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced Vineyard Operator looking to take the next step in their career and manage the activities of a small vineyard, irrigation operations and employees. This role requires a hands-on approach to tasks such as vine training, pruning, equipment operation, and irrigation system maintenance under the direction of the Grower Liaison Officer and Vineyard Management Team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in vineyard operations and the use of agricultural machinery, along with strong practical skills in vine care, irrigation maintenance and equipment maintenance. They must be physically capable of performing manual outdoor work in various weather conditions and demonstrate the ability to lead and train a team effectively.

Attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to follow instructions are essential. A valid driver’s licence is required, and the candidate must be willing to obtain a ChemCert certification, as well as forklift and telehandler licences. Intermediate English proficiency and a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance are also necessary.
