Position Vacant: TRUMPF 5130 Operator

Express Metal Products offers state-of-the-art laser cutting and folding solutions to the Australian domestic market. Due to internal promotion we have a vacancy for an afternoon shift press brake operator at our Meadowbrook facility.

The Role

Full-time permanent - every member of our team is full-time permanent

38 hours per week - 1:30pm - 10pm on Afternoon Shift

Finish 5pm Friday

Immediate start or flexible start

$30-$45 per hour + loading

Primarily a jobbing shop - fold new and unique parts every day

130T Press - no cranes needed - experience folding 2-3mm aluminum parts with precision is advantageous

Dedicated programming support - bending programs published from TruTops Boost

About You

2+ years experience air bending/folding sheet metal (TRUMPF controller experience is highly regarded)

Diverse experience interpreting technical drawings and folding instructions

Confidence troubleshooting and refining CNC bending programs at the press

History as a reliable member of a team

Personal desire to produce high quality work

Working knowledge of production process including job management, NCR/quality, programming, revision control, safety and culture.

A forklift ticket is advantageous - all operators are forklift certified at Express
