Trade qualified and experienced Mechanical fitters and Boilermakers required for Metro crushing circuit maintenance. These positions are primarily nightshift roles which may lead to rostered dayshift positions.

Whilst we have two current roles that are nightshift based, there is scope in our business to incorporate a dayshift nightshift roster which can be discussed at the interview stage. Some weekend work is available also. We also have up and coming shutdown work which is fly in fly out.

Duties include chute repairs, screen works/change outs, conveyor maintenance, crusher liner changes, head and tail pulley change outs, heavy equipment repairs and associated fitting and boiler making duties. It is expected that you help other trades when required in screen changes and conveyor roller change outs. Usual week is approximately 50-60 hours.

You will need to fit into a small and dynamic team that is focused on safety and the necessity of plant availability for the following day shift production.

The FIFO jobs are predominantly construction based however there are some instances where they involve maintenance activities.

FIFO jobs are basically fly there complete the job and fly home, i.e. shutdowns/installation works.
