About the role
At Kids Therapy Clinics Australia, we are dedicated to providing life-changing therapies for children and families. To support our growing multidisciplinary practice, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
The Bookkeeper will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data across multiple therapy services, supporting compliance with NDIS billing requirements, and assisting the management team with reporting and decision-making.
This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero), and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. A commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and supporting the mission of helping children reach their potential is essential.
What you'll be doing
Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
Manage NDIS invoicing, funding claims, and compliance with provider requirements.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for Directors.
Support budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and financial analysis for clinic operations.
Monitor payment compliance and follow up overdue accounts professionally.
Liase with company directors / external accountant as needed.
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in a book keeping or accounts clerk role
Strong numeracy and attention to detail with excellent data entry and reconciliation skills
Proficient in using accounting software, like Xero
Good understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Relevant qualifications in accounting or book keeping would be highly regarded
