We’re looking for a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter / Process Technician to keep our plant running at peak performance. You’ll maintain, repair, and improve our machinery, support production trials, and help train our operators — all while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

This position represents an excellent growth opportunity for the right candidate, as senior leaders are preparing for retirement.

Full Time - Permanent Role
$45 - $50 per hour + super plus Leave Credits
Location: Darra, QLD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service, maintain, and repair machinery to minimise downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues quickly
• Assist with machinery upgrades, modifications, and installations
• Support new product/material trials and basic moulding work
• Respond to breakdowns
• Manage spare parts inventory and report needs
• Train operators on equipment basics
• Follow all safety and quality standards

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Trade qualification in mechanical fitting (or related)
• Experience in routine and breakdown maintenance
• Knowledge of machinery installation & commissioning
• Site shutdown experience
• Bonus skills: polyurethane/plastics manufacturing, PLCs, pneumatics
