A rare opening has arisen for a motivated Lawyer or Associate (1–4 years PAE) to join a highly regarded national practice in their Melbourne office. This role sits within the firm’s well-established Insurance practice, with a focus on motor vehicle accident and property damage recoveries.

You’ll work closely with the firm’s Recoveries Principals and Senior Lawyers, gaining valuable mentoring and hands-on exposure to a steady pipeline of quality work. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career lawyer looking to build depth in insurance litigation within a supportive, high-performing team.

What You’ll Be Doing
This opportunity will see you managing a varied caseload of litigated and unlitigated matters, including:

• Handling motor vehicle property damage recovery claims from end-to-end
• Assisting with settlements and negotiations under guidance of Principals
• Conducting legal research and preparing advice and court documents
• Liaising with clients, experts, and stakeholders at all levels
• Developing your expertise with the support of senior lawyers and a collaborative team

About You
You’ll bring 1–4 years PAE with at least 18 months’ experience in an insurance litigation practice. Exposure to motor or property damage recoveries will be highly regarded. Just as important are your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
