We are currently inviting applications from passionate and innovative educators for the position of Secondary Classroom Teacher within our Joshua Centre at the Tyabb campus. This role is ideal for a teacher with a strong commitment to Christian education and a genuine passion for supporting autistic learners.
The successful candidate will bring experience in autistic education and demonstrate adaptability in delivering a range of subjects across Years 7 to 9. Within the Joshua Centre, all classes are capped at 12 students and are supported by a dedicated full-time aide, ensuring a highly supportive and personalised learning environment.
This position also offers the potential for flexibility in the allocated FTE, making it a great opportunity for educators seeking a tailored work arrangement.
The Joshua Centre opened in 2022 and is a special purpose educational facility that supports students on the Autism spectrum. The Joshua Centre is located on the Tyabb Campus and provides a differentiated learning program and environment better suited to the sensory needs and routines of students with Autism. We seek to see students with Autism not just survive, but instead thrive, be bold and courageous in their learning, social connection and wellbeing in order to live a full and purposeful life.
