Full-function AP role: invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations

Innerwest Location - $80,000 + Super, 1 day WFH

The Company

Our client is a highly regarded and long-established private group with operations across Australia and overseas. Known for their innovative yet stable approach in a specialised sector, this business offers employees the chance to join a professional and collaborative environment where staff stay long-term.

This role is initially offered as a 6-month fixed term contract, with a strong likelihood of going permanent for the right candidate. They offer 1 day WFH once training has been finalised.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of a key Accounts Payable position in the finance team. Duties will include:

Processing invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments in a timely and accurate manner

Managing weekly payment runs, including FX and local payments

Oversight of the AP inbox and supplier queries

Reconciling supplier statements and maintaining creditor aged reporting

Supporting petty cash and credit card reconciliations

Assisting with month-end close and audit requirements

Your Background

As the successful candidate, you will meet the majority of the following criteria;

3+ years’ of full-function accounts payable experience

A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Able to start immediately
