About the role

We’re looking for a motivated Mortgage Broker Assistant / Para Broker to join our award-winning Bayland Finance team in Mornington. This graduate opportunity is the perfect entry point into the world of mortgage broking, giving you real client exposure, professional training, and the chance to grow into a fully accredited Mortgage Broker.

What you’ll be doing

Assisting experienced Mortgage Brokers with loan applications and approvals

Preparing documents, gathering client information, and ensuring compliance

Liaising with lenders, valuers, and other third parties to progress applications

Delivering excellent client service and building strong relationships

Learning about credit analysis, loan structuring, and market research

Taking part in structured professional development and mentoring

What we’re looking for

A recent graduate in finance, accounting, commerce, business, or a related field

Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships

High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Enthusiasm to learn and grow within the mortgage broking industry

Comfortable with technology (MS Office + mortgage software)

A proactive, reliable team player with career progression goals
