Job Description

The primary focus of the role is Accounts and Payroll Manager.

Lead end-to-end payroll, drive compliance, support system integrations & collaborate across teams to shape efficient best-practice payroll processes.

Working as part of a dynamic company team, this role is an integral part of running the business.

The successful applicant will need to be able to work independently and in a team environment, displaying a passion and aptitude for the role.

There can be flexibility in the hours, with the role primarily an ’in office’ position 5 days a week (M-F).

Key Responsibilities

End to end Accounts preparation including bank and credit card management, debtors, creditors, asset management, cash management, invoicing, data entry and filing.

Lead Payroll: Manage end-to-end payroll and shape best-practice processes

Drive Innovation: Support system integrations and streamline workflows

Assisting with tax preparation including PAYG / BAS / Activity Statement / Payroll Tax.

Month end reporting and assisting with financial year end reporting.

Liaise with banks.

Other one-off duties as assigned.

Key Skills Required

Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practice.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Good time management and prioritising tasks.

Proficiency in accounting (MYOB) software and other tools.

Good understanding of preparing and maintaining spreadsheet data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in commission-based compensation structures.

Manage cashflow and creditors.

Strong reconciliation skills.

Qualifications

Real Estate experience (not necessary)

Bookkeeping / reporting experience (at least 2 years)

Payroll experience (at least 2 years)
