Based in Manildra western NSW mid-way between Orange and Parkes.

THE JOB:

Learn to monitor, operate and maintain packing equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality in compliance with established standards.

Collaborate with team members to achieve production and continuous improvement goals.

Undertake hygiene tasks to ensure the highest standard of food safety are maintained

Monitor product specifications to ensure products are packed accurately

Follow all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures. Identify and report safety issues within the mill and the broader workplace to maintain a safe working environment.

Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation

The position will involve shift work on a rotating roster and provides overtime opportunities

ABOUT YOU:

Curious nature and willingness to learn

Desirable - Possess a HRW - forklift licence or ability to obtain prior to commencement

Forklift Training available for suitable candidates

Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy

Good communication skills

Numeracy and English literacy skills

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Able to work effectively independently and within a team

Desirable - computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and skills to pick up and learn new computer programs quickly

Must be safety minded and a strong team player.
