BUSH REGENERATION - TEAM MEMBER

LOCATIONS: Bulga NSW (Glencore Mine Biodiversity Offset Site)

Doorunga is seeking Bush Regeneration Team Members to join the project under the direction of the Team Leader, that are passionate about Bush Regeneration and would like to participate in making a difference.

Suitable candidates should address the following selection criteria;

Essential Skills:

Glencore Mine Induction/s - Current

Ability to travel to and work in the Singleton area.

Have a passion for practical environmental restoration and weed management.

Ability to work in remote bushland under various weather conditions and terrain.

Adequate level of physical fitness required.

Ability to undertake a National Police Check.

Ability to undertake and pass a pre- employment medical.

Australian Citizenship.

Desirable Skills:

Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management desirable or environmental related discipline, (or) working towards related discipline.

Experience in or willingness to learn IT platforms such as ARCGIS, Survey 123 and associated software.

Current First Aid Certificate.

Demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units and back-pack sprayers.

Class C driver’s license.

AQF3 chemical application qualifications.
