Salary: $75,000 + Super | Full-Time | 38 Hours/Week

Work directly for a selection of prestigious private schools located across Sydney's North Shore. Each role is based at a different school, with its own dedicated team and campus environment. These schools are individually known for their commitment to excellence in education and the upkeep of safe, welcoming, and well-maintained facilities. As a Maintenance/Handyperson, you'll contribute to the smooth daily operations of your assigned school community.

Your New Role

We are seeking multiple Maintenance/Handypersons to support the upkeep of school facilities. You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, functional, and well-presented learning environments. Responsibilities include:

• General repairs and preventative maintenance (carpentry, basic plumbing, painting)
  
• Grounds and building upkeep
  
• Responding to maintenance requests from school staff
  
• Event setup and pack-down (e.g. assemblies, performances, parent evenings)
  
• Supporting minor project work
  
• Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
  

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Previous experience in a maintenance or hand-person role, ideally in an educational or institutional setting
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks across multiple sites
  
• A valid driving licence and reliable transport
  
• White Card and relevant trade qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  
• A commitment to child safety and working within school environments (WWCC required)
