About the Role

You’ll lead the implementation of our local marketing efforts, creating campaigns, generating content, coordinating events, and building strong connections with clients, partners, and the local community. This role is perfect for someone who loves creativity, organisation, and genuine engagement — both online and in person.

Key Responsibilities

Local Content Creation

Develop engaging local content for social media platforms, with a strong focus on short-form videos, reels, and stories, including co-ordinating co-branded content with local referral partners

Showcase client success stories, community involvement, and local initiatives that reflect the Loan Market Edge brand personality

Capture and edit high-quality images and videos for use across Loan Market Edge digital channels

Community Engagement & Initiatives

Plan and run local competitions, giveaways, and promotions to grow our Southport contact database

Work with the team to deliver community initiatives that foster strong relationships with local residents, businesses, and partners

Coordinate sponsorship activities to ensure Loan Market Edge is visible and positively represented in the community

Implement activities to strengthen relationships with referral partners, ensuring consistent engagement and mutual benefit

Events & Education

Organise and promote local educational events and workshops to engage and inform our community about property, finance, and mortgage solutions

Manage event logistics including venue, catering, invitations, and on-the-day coordination

Capture event content for use in post-event marketing campaigns

Reporting

Track and report on the success of local marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach within the Southport and Gold Coast market

What You’ll Bring

Experience in marketing, events, or a related field (agency or in-house)

Strong social media skills, including video creation and editing

A genuine passion for building relationships and engaging with clients, partners, and the local community

Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

Creative thinking and a desire to showcase the Loan Market Edge brand in an authentic and engaging way
