Full time permanent Dental Nurse

Immediate start is available.

Clinic hours are:

Monday-Friday 8-5:30pm

Adhoc Saturday 8-2pm. We currently have full time staff to fill the saturdays this would just be to help if someone was sick. Not mandatory.

We warmly invite you to join our team to provide exceptional patient care. You will be in the clinic in a hands on role with patients. You will have an understanding of how to prepare for dental procedures, infection control and managing stock.

If you have reception experience or desire to learn we would love to extend your scope.

Our Practice

Our practice is located in the heart of Leichhardt on the corner of Norton Street and Macauley Street. We have a practice in the city also. We full female team & we are growing steadily from our opening date in May. .

We are a team-based practice and we like our clients! Our goal is to have everyone at an optimal level of health that we maintain through effective communication and appropriate clinical measures. Education and effective clinical interventions are key for this practice.

Our wonderful modern practice is located 10 minutes walk from the light rail and 10 minutes from Petersham Station. There is even a bus stop right outside! There is no onsite parking (like everywhere in the InnerWest) but there is free parking 2 blocks away.

Applicants ideally would have:

at least 2 years' experience as a Dental Nurse

experience as a Dental receptionist is favored

experience in chair-side assisting and dental procedure preparation

excellent communication skills

confident in adhering to sterilization protocols

ability to multi-task

understanding of infection control

Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or equivalent recognised qualification)
