Illawarra Diggers has been providing high quality care to older veterans, their families and members of the broader community for more than 79 years. We provide a friendly, caring and homely environment that seeks to enhance the quality of life of every resident.

Illawarra Diggers is seeking to appoint Registered Nurses into several roles, (Full Time, Part Time and Casual) ideally with experience in Aged Care, to join our dedicated team.

As we provide 24/7 RN coverage, we would consider applicants seeking regular afternoon or night shift as well as rotating shifts.

To be considered you will have:

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency(AHPRA)

Exceptional clinical leadership skills and knowledge.

Demonstrated experience in a similar role

A passion for working with older people

Ability to work in a professional team environment

A high level of written & oral communication and computer literacy

Strong interpersonal skills

Current First Aid Certificate

Ability to work rostered shifts and weekends

It will also be an advantage to have:

Palliative experience

Wound management experience

Infection control management experience

Knowledge and experience in the aged care accreditation process.
