Job Description: Beauty Therapist

Location: Beauty Effects – Toowoomba CBD
Position: Full-time or Part-time (negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality beauty treatments including:

Brow shaping, tinting, and lamination

Customised facials and skin treatments

Makeup application and recommendations

Lash tinting and lifting

Conduct professional skin consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and products

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment

Build strong, trusting relationships with clients

Upsell retail products and treatments when appropriate

Stay current with beauty trends and techniques through ongoing training

Ensure all hygiene and salon protocols are followed to a high standard

Required Skills & Experience:

Certificate III or IV in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent)

Experience is preferred but not necessary for the right applicant

Strong skills in brow services and skin treatments

High level of professionalism, personal grooming, punctuality, and attention to detail

Friendly, positive attitude with strong communication skills

Confidence working independently and as part of a team

Passion for the beauty industry and commitment to client care

Desirable (but not essential):

Experience with skin analysis technology or cosmeceutical products

Additional certifications in advanced skin treatments or brow artistry

Retail or sales experience in a salon setting
