Based in Goodwood South Australia, Goodwood Timber and Hardware is a trade and retail timber company.

We are currently seeking a Timber and Hardware sales representative that is enthusiastic, self-driven, highly passionate and service focused individual.

The successful applicant will deliver excellent customer service, develop strong relationships with customers, be focused on sales and new store business.

This is an immediate start, Full Time position.

Responsibilities of this role will include, but not be limited to the following:

• Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales.
• Identifying new market opportunities to increase sales and profit margin performance.
• Identify and successfully negotiate business and sales opportunities.
• Provide assistance and advice to customers relating to store products and services.
• Processing of daily inbound orders, quotes and phone sales.
• Price list management, distribution and sales reporting.

Skills and Experience include:

• Working with trade and retail customers
• Knowledge of timber and building supplies products an advantage
• Excellent communication skills and have the ability to build rapport quickly
• Proven customer service and organisational skills
• Well-developed written and verbal skills
• Have the ability to work within a team environment
• Sound computer knowledge
• Forklift licence is an advantage, but not essential
• Current drivers licence
• Neat and professional presentation

Timber and Hardware sales will be highly regarded.
