About the role

This is an exciting part-time opportunity to join the Credit team at Northern Lending Solutions in Broadmeadows, Victoria. As a Credit Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the financial services industry, evaluating loan applications and assessing the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.

What you'll be doing

Analysing financial information such as credit reports, income statements and balance sheets to determine the risk profile of loan applicants

Recommending appropriate credit decisions based on thorough assessments of the applicant's financial standing and ability to repay

Communicating effectively with both internal stakeholders and external clients throughout the credit assessment process

Maintaining accurate records and documentation to support credit decisions

Identifying opportunities to improve credit evaluation processes and procedures

Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, economics or a related discipline

Demonstrable experience as a credit analyst or in a similar financial services role

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members

Familiarity with credit risk assessment methodologies and industry regulations
