About the company/role:

• Major pharmaceutical company
• Based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne
• Night shifts (11.30pm - 8am)
• Permanent, full-time opportunity

Duties:

• Sampling of raw materials when required
• Routine analysis of raw materials using basic wet chemistry techniques and small instrumentation
• Test and release packaging materials and artwork
• Liaising with Warehouse personnel in regards to raw material deliveries
• Analysis of intermediates and finished products when fully trained

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals or related discipline
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of chemistry techniques, including wet chemistry and analytical techniques
• HPLC experience is ideal
• Excellent communication skills
• Good with time management and organisation
• Previous experience working night shifts will be highly regarded
