Technical Coordinator – Software Development & Integration
Key Responsibilities

Code Oversight & Quality Assurance

Monitor development progress and inspect code for alignment with standards and security protocols

Champion architectural best practices and ensure consistent technical excellence

Team & Management Coordination

Act as the conduit between developers and leadership, translating vision into execution

Lead sprint planning, team syncs, and progress tracking to maintain momentum and transparency

Technology Research & Planning

Stay ahead of emerging tech trends and assess their relevance to our business goals

Collaborate with developers to evaluate and implement new frameworks and tools

Third-Party Integration Management

Coordinate with external vendors and API providers to ensure seamless integration

Facilitate clear technical communication between internal teams and third-party partners

Technical Expertise

Programming & Development

Strong proficiency in Python, with working knowledge of:

Backend: Java, Node.js, C#

Frontend: React.js, Angular, Vue.js

Systems & Architecture

Experience with API development, SFTP, and secure file transfers

Skilled in relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)

Familiarity with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Payments & Compliance

Hands-on experience with payment gateways, SWIFT, RTGS, ISO 20022

Understanding of PCI-DSS, AML protocols, and tokenisation

UI/UX Design

Ability to guide teams in building responsive, modern interfaces

Experience with Bootstrap, Material-UI, Tailwind CSS

Soft Skills & Additional Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and team coordination abilities

Strong written and verbal communication

Analytical, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset

Comfortable managing multiple priorities in an agile environment

Preferred Qualifications

Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical coordination or development leadership role

Prior experience in FinTech, enterprise software, or systems integration is highly regarded
