About the role

This role requires an experienced furniture polisher who is familiar with applying stain and lacquer to Timber Joinery. As we have a large team of laborers and assistance your main daily task will be spraying rather than sanding.

Duties and Responsabillities

Spraying Two pack clear sealers and top coats on Timber Joinery

Mixing and applying stain to Timber Joinery

Toneing up to achieve exact colour matches

Quality control of all your work to meet the standards set by management

Management of stock levels pertaining to your work area

Skills and Experience

First and formost a positive attitude is paramount

Knowledge of mixing clear two pack and single pack lacquers.

Knowledge of spraying clear two pack and single pack lacquers

Knowledge of mixing and applying all types of timber stains

Knowledge of pressure pots, diaphragm pumps, pot guns, compressed air and orbital sanders.

Ability to spray lacquer to a high standard including minimal orange peel and no runs

Experience is required in Furniture polishing and preparation of timber joinery

Working along side our team of qualified tradesman you will be given ample oppurtunity to fine tune some skills if they are new to you but experiance is required in the application of stain and clear two pack coatings as a minimum.

We supply a consistent high standard of work to our clients and as such the successful candidate must be able to consistently meet those standards. We constantly train all our team to improve their skills.

Hours are 38 per week with overtime available during much of the year but we also offer variable work hours to suit your personal needs.
