About the role
Are you an experienced Venue Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Arthur's Milk Bar Cafe' in Kew, is seeking a full-time Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant community based cafe. As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience and leading a passionate team of hospitality individuals.

What you'll be doing

Manage all front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service

Roster and supervise our incredible team, providing training and support to help them develop their skills

Implement effective inventory management and cost control procedures

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations

Drive sales and profitability through effective marketing and promotions

Foster a positive, customer-focused culture and lead by example

Collaborate with our Head Chef to curate an enticing menu and dining experience

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimise business performance

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Venue Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar hospitality setting

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop a team

Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting and cost control

Knowledge of food safety, and other relevant hospitality regulations

Availability to work on weekends

Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to creating memorable dining experiences

Knowledge of onboarding new staff efficiently and effectively
