About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Service Desk Technician to join our dedicated Knowledge Services team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a genuine desire to continue developing as an IT professional, while delivering high-quality support to staff, students, and parents across the College.

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to users across the College.
• Monitor and respond to incoming IT requests via ticketing system, email, phone, or walk-ins.
• Support parents with technical service requests.
• Ensure College equipment (printers, projectors, screens, and digital devices) is functioning, and log/ escalate maintenance requests as needed.
• Assist with management and deployment of devices, applications, and updates for staff and students.
• Maintain spare student and staff devices with up-to-date software patches.
• Support the implementation of new and upgraded technologies within the College.
• Log and manage student device repairs and update asset records accurately.
• Assist with user management across systems including Active Directory, PaperCut, and Microsoft 365.
• Provide AV and media support, including setup and operation of AV equipment, in collaboration with the Head of Media and AV.
• Support staff and students with AV and media systems across the campus.
• Undertake other duties as required by the Head of Technical Operations or Director of Knowledge Service.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Relevant qualification preferred, or experience in a similar role
• Demonstrates problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to technical support.
• Has experience in troubleshooting a wide range of IT and AV equipment.
• Is organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple requests efficiently.
• Shows a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow as technologies evolve.
• Possesses current Blue Card/Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
