OnPoint plumbing and civil are seeking an experienced Operator/Pipelayer to join our team in Adelaide. As a full-time Operator/Pipelayer, you will play a crucial role in our commercial plumbing team to assist with pipelaying and excavating service trenching.

We have some exciting large works ranging from underground civil plumbing to High Rise apartment, Great team to be a part of.

Pipelayer Responsibilities:

Install storm, sewer, and water piping systems

Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans

Ensure proper slope, grade, and pipe alignment

Perform trench safety and follow OSHA guidelines

🏗️ Skilled Operator Responsibilities:

Operate excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment

Dig trenches with precision for utility installation

Assist ground crew when necessary

Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as Operator/Pipelayer, with a strong background in the industry

Comprehensive knowledge in Operator Ing/Pipelaying, regulations, and best practices

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

A current MR license and other tickets in this industry
