About the role

We’re seeking motivated Labourers and Multi Skilled Operators to join our quarry operations team. This full-time role will see you working with mobile crushing plants in quarry environments across South Australia, with travel to regional and remote locations as required.

Whether you have experience operating crushing and screening equipment or are ready to expand your skills in quarry operations, we’re open to training the right candidates and supporting your development in this specialised field.

What you’ll be doing

Operate mobile crushing and screening plants in a quarry setting

Conduct feeding, stockpiling, and general material handling using loaders, excavators, and other plant (where ticketed)

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and daily machine pre-start checks

Monitor production outputs and adjust plant settings for optimal performance

Assist with site preparation, clean-up, and other quarry-related labouring duties

Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and safety standards

Follow all site plans, instructions, and WHS requirements

Travel to various quarry sites across South Australia as required

What we’re looking for

Construction Induction Certificate (White Card – essential, or willing to obtain before hire)

Accredited plant tickets for relevant machinery (loader, excavator, skid steer, etc.)

Previous experience in quarrying, crushing plant operation, or civil construction (desirable)

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both in a team and independently

Willingness to travel and work at different sites, including regional and remote locations

Strong commitment to safe work practices and production quality

Ability to complete daily pre-starts, conduct equipment checks, and maintain accurate records

Good understanding of basic plant maintenance requirements

Strong communication skills and reliability

Mobile crushing and screening of quarry materials for infrastructure and construction projects

Material production for road construction, subdivisions, and major civil works

Supplying aggregates and base materials to councils and private contractors across South Australia

Supporting large-scale regional infrastructure projects
