Connect Civil is a South Australian company working across the civil infrastructure and construction industries. As a leader in the delivery of Gas Mains Replacement projects for South Australia, we are now looking to bolster our existing high performing field crews with another vac truck operator. Position comes with above award rates, penalties, full training, regular overtime and a great working environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We are seeking a Vac-Truck Operator (HR) with a minimum of 2 years' experience operating a Vac-Truck in a civil construction environment, for an immediate start.

Responsibilities include excavating and potholing for commercial and domestic gas services and mains laying. It can be a labour-intensive position therefore a high level of physical fitness is required.

This (Vac-Truck Operator) role requires the following qualifications and experience. Applicants must have all of the following:

White Card

Truck Licence HR

Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role

Job benefits and perks

Typical working week is Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm with REGULAR OVERTIME HOURS. Overtime is sometimes required to meet demand. Some days will require double dumps.
