About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and seasoned Senior Accountant to work on a part time basis for a financial services and asset management company. This role is a part-time position (2 days a week) suited for candidates confident in managing end-to-end financial processes and driving improvements. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, proactive, and capable of working autonomously while supporting operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of annual statutory accounts across the business, ensuring timely completion and appropriate approvals.
• Manage the preparation of tax returns, including providing recommendations and sign-offs prior to submission.
• Review Business Activity Statements (BAS) or equivalent compliance reports, liaising with service providers where required.
• Coordinate the preparation and distribution of shareholder tax statements in line with agreed requirements.
• Ensure compliance with annual reporting obligations and maintain adherence to relevant regulatory standard

Requirements:

• Experience as a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
• CA/CPA qualified.
• Proven expertise in month-end, year-end reporting, and preparing management accounts.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage external relationships, especially with auditors.
• Up to 6 years in a senior finance role.
