Are you passionate about protecting public health and the environment while delivering exceptional service to your community? At the Town of Mosman Park, we’re seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Environmental Health Professional to join our Community Planning and Place team.

About the Role
This is a dynamic role with the opportunity to work across all aspects of environmental health in a supportive, community-focused local government. You’ll:
Lead or support environmental health services including inspections, sampling, investigations, and compliance monitoring.
Provide specialist advice to residents, businesses, and internal teams, contributing to a safe, healthy, and vibrant community.
Manage or assist with projects, research, and policy development that promote public health and environmental protection.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust
Contribute to the Town’s strategic health and wellbeing goals, whether in a senior or development role
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Customer-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and analytical, with an ability to problem-solve and work methodically.
Proactive and adaptable, comfortable juggling diverse priorities.
Passionate about community health and safety and eager to make a difference.
For senior candidates:
You bring significant experience in environmental health, hold tertiary qualifications accredited by Environmental Health Australia (or equivalent), and are confident leading programs and initiatives.
For early-career candidates:
You may have completed a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) and while fully qualified and have some experience are looking to grow and develop your career.
